This Summer was busy.
We had a pass to the outdoor public pool down the street and were there A LOT. At least once a day for sure. The kids swam and swam and showed us all their tricks. They made "pool-friends" and took swimming lessons and all passed very well. The town also built a splash pad right next to the pool this summer and we really enjoyed that - so much community.
I took two more courses this summer at Redeemer and was gone for two weeks for classes. This August I graduated with my Bachelor of Education and this Fall I recived my OCT. A busy time but a good investment in my education.
Steve went on SERVE this summer to Holland, Michigan with our Youth group. He had an amazing time and met so many cool people. He is also a Youth leader this year.
Nadineke and Reuben went to Grandmas' house for week this summer - a first! They had so much fun together: sewing pajama pants, tie-dying shirts (see above), visiting and beaching with the Renkemas, and going out to eat at a Chinese Buffet (trying out new foods!).
We went to the Drive-In quite a few times this summer - $10 a van load! We saw Guardians of the Galaxy, TMNT, and How to Train a Dragon.
This is just a picture of Eli and sulking Silas. Also a part of our summer ;)
