Friday Afternoon.

Friday after school chores (backpacks cleaned out, lunches out, uniforms off) are done and because we are not heading to the church to clean (as we usually do on Friday afternoons) I suggested we work on our music practises so that we (Steve and I)  can have the weekend off.  Judah does his piano first and then crashes (see later picture).
Here Reuben is doing some Theory and then works on the clarinet.  Moving on from "Hot Cross Buns" Yay!

Eli is having some trouble adjusting to the 5-days-of-school-in-a-row and by Friday is totally done.  I kept him home last week Friday but can't do that every week, poor kid.  Here he is having a little breakdown because I said that everyone was too tired to have a "movie night" tonight... maybe Saturday?

Silas is playing trains.

Judah has been sent to his room for some quiet time.  He is upset because I told him he had to play each song 3xs.  It was taking too long.  I know it is not kind of me to take a picture of such sorrow but it is reality :)

VERY shortly after these pictures, Judah and I had made up, Eli and Silas were on the trampoline and Reuben and Nadine were reading the comics together on the computer.  This is a small snippet of our afternoon before Steve is home (6pm) but one to make a nod to.
