A couple of weeks ago we went to the Stratford Midwife Picnic.  I was so excited (and emotional) to see Beth who I haven't seen since Silas was 6 weeks old.  Beth helped the 4 youngest be born and we had a really good relationship.  I didn't realize how much I missed her and it was fun to catch up and show off our "big" people.
Nadine was excited to meet some "real!" midwives and proudly carried Lila around in her sling and told all the midwives that she wanted to be a midwife when she grew up.  They were all encouraging and happy for her and one of them suggested she do her volunteer hours (in highschool) at the clinic.  Nadine was elated!  How far away is grade 9?!

After the picnic, we put all the kids on a rock.
