Deer.

Nadine LOVES deer.  She reads deer books, sleeps with 6 deer stuffies (two deeries, a pink and a green deerling, deer from the Pioneer Village named Rosie and a baby deer), collects deer Pokemon cards, colours and draws pictures of deer,  does deer projects at school for fun and has two vintage deer figurines and a picture of deer on her shelf.

So, when by accident we came to dentist (in Mitchell) an hour early,  I decided to drive around and look for the petting zoo that I heard was in Mitchell.  To Nadine's joy the main petting zoo attraction was DEER!!!!!!

The deer were approachable and friendly and were OK to pet.  To make it even more fun for all of us, there was a crab apple tree nearby with fallen apples to feed the appreciative deer.

One of the best days of Nadine's life ;)
