Beans.

Here are my bean helpers this year.  Busy, busy!  (These are market beans as mine were all eaten by rabbits and clever squirrels - VERY sad)

A dramatic job, for sure.  As we were working, Eli was working on filling a pot of beans for supper.  As I was blanching, I noticed that the pot was gone off the stove.  When I found it there wasn't quite enough for supper anymore :)  Eli and Silas finished off the pot before it even got cooked.
