Our place was only about a half hour from the East Gate of Algonquin Park and as a fun bonus, our Pinery Pass was actually a Provincial Park pass so we could come in and out for the day nicely.
Rhea came down for a couple of days and one of the days we went into Algonquin for a trail and a tour through the Visitors Centre.
Above: I like this picture - usually we don't see a picture of our family walking together! :) We are all there, I am carrying Silas.
We went on the Logging Museum trail and it was very interesting and well done. The kids wanted to go back to this trail again the second visit! It was very cool to see all the history of logging in Algonquin/Ontario preserved and honoured and accessible.
We also went on the Look Out Trail. Although all the rocks and cliffs made us nervous, it was spectacular and amazing to see what a great God we serve. He is one awesome Creator!
