Grandparents Day is a for sure highlight of the entire school year for the entire school! The seniors are invited for coffee and treats, a opportunity to buy some baked goods at a fundraiser, a chance to visit their little people in their classes, soup and bun lunch and an incredibly cute program featuring their little people (which I heard was adorable, funny and extremely enjoyable). Then! The grandparents are allowed to take their grandchildren home early from school (like a half hour early!) and take them to Dairy Queen. Lucky grandparents :)
This year the kids invited Opa and Oma, Grandma and Mrs.Blue, our neighbour. I think that next year we may have to invite more grand-friends as there will be 5 kids' classes to visit! :) (By the way, I was not at Grandparents Day, I stole these pictures from the grandparents :)
