Sinter Klaas Weverink Christmas.

The Weverink Christmas was celebrated at Sinter Klaas this year.  Rachel and Rob are heading to Alberta for Christmas (fun!) so perhaps this will be a new tradition.  Not too many pictures but a smattering enough.

The kids put their shoes out at 109 (my parents' house) and sang the little song.  Sneakily, when we were home they also put out a shoe at 242 (our house) and sang the song again in a whisper hoping for double the presents.  Sadly, they forgot some food for St.Nick's horse so St.Nick sent the Easter Bunny over to give them only a little egg in their shoes.  Boefs.
Above:  Eli recives a NEW!!! Monopoly game - City Monopoly.  At least, this keeps things interesting for us.

Tante Hannelle teaches Nadine how to make little paper stars.

Our family was gifted a record player from Tante Rachel and Uncle Rob.  SO cool.  They found a bunch of records from my childhood and also a couple of new ones.  What an interesting thing! They have all been quite fascinated with it.

Peter and the Wolf.

Cinderella.

Lego building.

Since we were (mostly) all together we went out (what a treat!) to celebrate Mom's 60th!

Mom is such a wonderful person and our family is so blessed to have her.

Although, I think Noam stole the show - adorable ;)
