On Sunday afternoon we had our own little Christmas together. We made a fun party out of it and everyone got to pick a treat: Steve and Sarah - M&M oven treats, Reuben - Dr.Pepper, Nadine - candycane icecream, Judah - chicken strips, Eli - salt and vinegar chips, Silas - chocolate pop and dollar store chocolate ornament balls.
The kids got 2 gifts each from us and all of them were a hit.
It was good to be together, laughing and chatting and eating and sharing and showing.
Nadine is taking a knitting "class" at the Library in January so she got some needles and yarn and picked it up very quickly. Right now, she is working on a scarf for Lila.
Eli, of course, got his "most desired" Monopoly game, Monopoly Empire. So, of course, we played a round. It was a fun (and more quicker) version - score for all of us!
