At 7:40 the kids are out waiting for the bus. We have started piling up snow in the front and they either sled for a bit or play "King of the Hill" just like last year.
Reuben is often "king" but the kids have made some rules together to make things a little fair... Judah can hold the railing but Reuben cannot. Just to even things out between the 11 and 7 year old.
Judah is a fun playing companion - easy-going and joyful. Reuben is lucky to have a brother like that.
Silas cheers and also is an enthusiastic waver when the bus comes. Reuben, Nadine and Eli always wave from the bus window but Judah always forgets - too busy socializing :)
On the first day of school I told the kids to line up for the bus from youngest to oldest and the oldest ones have to watch out for the younger. Since day 1, they have been lining up like this unprompted. I think it is super cute. The two girls who catch the bus at our house also have red hair so when when they are not all wearing hats, it is a pretty red-headed group... all except Nadine :)
So fun to see all the pictures of your family in your daily activities!
