Otter, 3 and 6.

Eli completed the level Sea Otter this year.  He was bribed (by me) to do bobs and he managed to do back floats and jumps without getting his head wet.  He can swim well and doggy-paddle for a good distance but that "water on the head" is still a struggle...  But!  We are getting there!

Judah completed level 3 this year and had a lot of fun.  He was friends with all the kids in his class and he could do all the activities easily.  There is no diving board this year (it broke!) so Judah got more confident jumping off the life guard chair.  Judah told me that I was not allowed to watch him during swimming lessons but he did want me to wave when he looked at me...

Reuben kept Silas quite busy.  It was a bit of a tough go for Silas as we were at the pool for 4 weeks in a row.  The days that the kids would play with him made the morning go so well.

Nadine completed level 6.  She (again) was in a group with only boys but two were from her class at school so she was OK with it.  She loved the dolphin kick and was quite speedy (swimming like a mermaid) and hated diving.  She did one dive on the last Thursday and that was it - just enough to pass.

The public pool has free swim every Tuesday and we almost always go (unless it is storming or FREEZING!).  Here are some people getting ready to go!
