The evening beach is the best. Most of the people have left, the sun isn't so hot, the water warmed up and everyone is ready for a cool down and a play.

Silas was WAY more interested in this "mountain" and having himself be the the "king" of it. He played quite happily a long while chatting and sliding (making "smoke" as he slid down) and imagining.
A perfect evening at the beach...I can't believe it's warm enough to swim now! Sarah, it's amazing that the kids will have so many memories of seeing the last bit of sun shining on the water and hearing the little waves hit the sand, that it will feel like one long scene from their childhood! That's what it is like for me, and maybe you too?!
ReplyDeleteThe evening sure makes wonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteI love it! What a perfect way to end (and cool off!) on a hot, hot day! I love seeing all of their little imaginations coming out -- what great memories!
