Reuben - 10 1/2

Playing: Chess with Daddy, Eli and Opa & chess club at school, Stratego, King of the Hill, Pokemon (cards), Lego - building ships and cool things with Eli and Judah,  recorder at school, entertaining Silas (lots of piggy-back-rides),  watching LOTR with Daddy at night in short pieces and Mario toys/figurines.

Reading:  The Hobbit, Wondla 1&2 (waiting for #3), Harry Potter, graphic novels (Bone, Daddy's comics), Owl, daily comics on the computer,  Sunday School paper devotions (Daddy is the teacher ;), Palm Sunday reading in front of the whole church, Gordon Korman, Spiderwick Chronicles,  Jerry Spinelli and graphic novel "classics" (Above: the Brothers Grimm which he got under his pillow when he lost his last tooth - what a smart and lovely Tooth Fairy!).

3DS, his greatest toy.  Reuben plays his 3DS on the bus only and connects with his friends to race and play all sorts of games together.  His favourite games: New Super Mario Bros 2, Lego LOTR, Mario Kart 7, Kingdom Hearts (just the demo), swap notes, Nintendo video and Fractured Soul (demo).

Collects: Pokemon cards (two binders), Mario cards (one pack so far:), knick knacks, Pokemon and Mario figurines, Tin Tin figurines, posters (City Harmonic, YFC, Mario, Pokemon and his own artwork), books and graphic novels and Teckdeck skateboards.

Listens to:  City Harmonic, DC talks, Weird Al, My FM 90.5FM, learns the lyrics to popular tunes like: "You don't know you're Beautiful," "Call Me Maybe," "Dynamite" and Judah's Mix which includes "You Can Call me Al" and "Farmer's Style"

Reuben keeps busy: at Cadets - winning second place at the winter Snow Derby, getting ready for the Cadet-o-rama,  trampoline wrestling with Judah, building forts/large snowballs, sledding and skating, talking about books and movies and friends with Steve and I, sharing his books with Nadine, Art class  and writing class with Mrs deJager, Science class with Mr. de Boer, Bible class and devotions with Mrs Frielink, hanging out with Zachery and Noah at recess, joking around with Ryan, and of course! Gym class.

Dislikes: Math, little boys sneaking into his room, fried eggs and bacon (weird!), going to bed early (total night owl/sleeper-inner).
