Judah was VERY excited about this birthday party and having all his friends over. They came off the bus full of chatter and excitement and lots of fast movement and didn't really end any of that until we dropped them off. A fun (exhausting for Steve and I!) birthday party where Judah ended the day being very very very pleased and happy.
After playing (well) with every toy we have in the backhouse they boys stopped for some robot cupcake decorating and soon after some gift opening.
(side note that Judah will not appreciate :) He is sucking his thumb here to be funny, but the funny thing is that he often his his fingers by his mouth not realizing it... His front teeth are growing in and they bother him. "Chewing gum helps!" encourages Judah :) Good thing we still have that amber necklace on him from his "real" teething days!
After the gifts, Steve came home and we took the boys (Reuben as a birthday "helper") to the church to bounce on the bouncy castle in the gym, run and run around and play a little basketball ending with Steve doing donuts in the parking lot. Fun.
While I got supper ready, the boys all watched a short (20min) Lego Star Wars movie that was VERY funny.
After supper we sent the boys outside to play and fool around and laugh and ended the evening with a laser gun fight.
Judah is really going to enjoy being 7 with these friends around.
